I am trying to access the web interface on the M172 PLC. The last info I can find for the default username / password is as follows:
administrator / password
I have tried using this combination in uppercase and lower case but I keep getting kicked back to the login.
Can someone provide the correct username & password?
Thanks!
Richard

Hello,
on a brand new M172 the default user and password are administrator/password, but since bios .10 the user is forced to change it at first connection.
If you are a developer, the easiest way is download a new plc code which force the password using the target block sysHTTP_Authentication (loosing the current application...)

Yes the above FB works. For a moment I thought I would never reset the password, thank you Bastian!
Steps:
1. Load the library file int your build.
2. Add the block into one of your programs, like in the screen capture above.
3. Compille and run the program in debug mode.
4. Force the FALSE to TRUE. Block will keep resetting the password as long as the condition is TRUE.
5. Reboot the controler
6. Next time you connect to it with Machine Expert via USB, it will prompt you to change the password.
7. Most important, this time WRITE THE PASSWORD into your notebook. 🙂
