Is it possible to establish communication between HIMATRIX F35 PLC and Modcion M3400 PLC using the BMXNOE module ?

Hello All,

I want to communicate between a Hima F35 PLC and the BMXNOE0110 IO Scanning module, is it possible to read BITS using the BMXNOE0110 module?

Can we use the Read_Var and Write_Var functions using the BMXNOE0110 module?

Hi,

Which protocol do you use? Modbus/TCP?

if yes, you can read bits(%M(0x) or %I(1x)) from Hima F35 PLC.

You can use ADDM and READ_VAR function.

Good luck!

According to the Manual the next protocols are available. You can use the Modbus TCP.

The XPSMF35 PLC (from SE, brand labelled from HIMA) is Modbus TCP server over Ethernet so just using the IO Scanning service with BMXNOE on M340 should enable the communication. Now if you are refering HIMAtrix F35 (from HIMA), you just have to make sure of its Modbus/TCP server function availbility.
