Geo SCADA point updating live values but not trending historical
I have values for a point updating on a sparkline mimic. Tested it by simulating an analog output on the chlorine analyzer and watched the value update on SCADA. (see in first picture where i've highlighted the value is at 0.26ppm) I left the simulated value for 15-20 mins before changing the output value allow time for historical data to update as it is DNP3 comms. The number from the picture jumped 0.5 - 1 - 1.5ppm each time I simulated the value I'd expect for those results.
My issue is with the same point being used on a trend where it doesn't track historically. The Historic tab is Enabled and is set up the same as other points used on our system that do track and update as the parameters indicate it should. I'd go through all the settings such as significant change deadband (which I've recently edited as well) that I know could affect how the data trends, if it weren't for the current value showing something other then what the trend value is stuck at (0.72 ppm). The point updates and displays new values but the trend doesn't!
I have to be missing something, but I don't see it.
