TM2 Module on M221 PLC

Can I use TM2 modules in M221 PLC without TM3 module. Thanks

SE FAQ says no

but you could configure it in ESME Basic and you could start it without an error in simulation.

I did not have a TM2 modul for test. I would suggest try it.

I could not find in the actual hardware hanbook the information that it is impossible.
