Regarding Machine Expert V1.2.11 Issue

Hello all,

I faced with a IP set issue of M251 with Machine Expert Version 1.2.11 (Which is V1.1 License)

Issue : IP address is changed to that I've never set up.

I proceeded in the following order.

1. PC ↔ M251 : Download program via USB MINI-B(Disconnect cable after complete)
    : ETH1 IP : 192.168.0.141 / 255.255.255.0
    : ETH2 IP : 192.168.10.141 / 255.255.255.0
   
   
2. PC ↔ M251 : Scan network via Ethernet. After scanning, Login(Connect) to 192.168.0.141.
   
   
3. After power reboot,
    :  IP address is changed to 11.11.190.79 / 255.255.255.0
    : sometimes it is recovered its IP address what it should be. 
   
   
   

I tested 5 of TM251MESE.

And this happened always with M251 PLCs.

And this issue is solved right after by using Machine Expert V.2.0 

I am pretty sure, there is software issue on V1.2.11.

Is there any plan to fix the issue?

If not, Is there any plan to release upgrade license?

Hi, maybe this could help you, have you tried changing the ip address from the controller assistant software by changing the firmware? There's a communication settings section. Maybe that could help.

Is there anyone can help me to be convinced?😂

I am unconvinced with the answer from local team.
They told me that do not use V1.1 for the new project but only for maintenance.
(Even though I use this only for maintenance, the issue is still unresolved..)
Is the official notice from Schneider Electric?
