It is my first time using Schneider PLC (M221) and Machine Expert Basic. I used another system that works very differently.
I am running a counter and I want to write the count value to a Modbus register. It will act as a slave where my other Modbus TCP master device can read the value in real-time over the network.
I am having trouble getting the counter value written to the Modbus object. Is it possible for this product/software? If so can someone give me some pointers?
Also, is it true that the counter object only has the maximum value of 9999?
Thank you

If you want to made the counter value available via modbus you need only to use a fixed memory value in which you write the acutal counter value. You could seen this in the follow expample picture.
via *.V could you read the acutal value of the counter back.
In the Sample picture I use a memory word on address 0. This is available via Modbus FC3 if the Server functionality is activated for the line. Modbus TCP server must be manually activated.
The value *.v could be greater then preset. I try this with a reduced value for preset. I did not test if the value could be bigger then 9999.
best regards
