HVAC HMI error Cl6385

Hi,

after installing the Machine expert HVAC I received an error after compiling the Display program.

It is error: kStr00101(804) - error C16385: kStr00101 => Invalid init value.

Who knows what the cause is and how to solve?

Thanks.

Hi,

On which target do you have the problem?

The error occours if you define an incompatible init value for an variable.

I would expect something went wrong on one of your last modifications.

best regards

Hi,

The target is an M172 with build-in display.

The application was written in a 2 years old ME HVAC.

When I opened it in the latest ME HVAC there was a message if I would like to update.

I tried to update and no update both gave the same issues.

When I removed the edit fields the next 10 errors came up.

It seems that all edit field are giving the same error.

Best Regards ,

If you remove the first edit field the next ten show the same error?

If you remove all edit field the project could be compiled?

It sounds for me like the interaction between variables an display part generate the problem.

Did you try to remove and add all variables via the HMI Vars tab?

Alternative you could try via Projecta refresh target

Hello,

the error is due to a bug of this version. You probably have a ' used in a text field with an explicit string.

The workaround is define the same string in the String Table
