Seeking Guidance on Integrating RTC Data from HMIET6600 HMI to PCB via Modbus in Vijeo Designer Basic 2.0
Hello Esteemed Community Members,
Our team is currently working on integrating the HMIET6600 HMI into our machine, and we are utilizing Vijeo Designer Basic 2.0 for the HMI programming. As part of our project, we are keen on incorporating real-time clock (RTC) data from the HMIET6600 HMI into our PCB through the Modbus communication protocol.
Specifically, we aim to transmit time and date information from the HMI to the PCB, and we are reaching out to seek guidance on the most effective way to achieve this integration.
If any members of the community have experience or insights into configuring the HMIET6600 HMI for Modbus communication and can provide guidance on the steps involved in sending RTC data to a PCB, we would greatly appreciate your expertise.
Our primary focus is to establish a robust and reliable communication link between the HMI and PCB, ensuring seamless transfer of time and date information. Any examples, best practices, or recommendations related to Vijeo Designer Basic 2.0 and Modbus integration for RTC data transmission would be immensely valuable to our project.
@BillP Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. We look forward to benefiting from the wealth of knowledge within this esteemed community.
