ScadaPack32 - "Connection could not be established"
I was "playing around" with the DNP/IP/Modbus settings the other day for our 5604 Controller, which is part of a ScadaPack32 system with 6 I/O modules attached. Anyway, since all our tags are bound with DNP addresses, I thought I could disable some features, like Modbus. So I did that and I wrote the changes to the controller. After doing so, anytime I want to read from the controller or just connect to it, I get the attached popup.
This is probably an easy debug but I am certain I've reset all the communication params correctly - IP, port, protocol. I'm hoping someone has run into this before. I'm thinking it's a secondary setting that was changed to a default but not changed back when I backed out what I had changed in the Modbus fields. Editor is Telepace Studio 5.4.2. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
