PLC code quality verification - reduced time and errors - any solution ?

I am a Pharma Plant manager, we use PLCs in our applications. We are therefore required to verify that the PLC code provided by our system integrators respects certain safety and quality measures and to ensure that there is traceability of these verifications. It is costly and time-consuming to perform such verifications manually and we cannot certify that there is no human error. Is there any way to automate our code verification process?
