In a project we have lot of MCCBs connected to IFMs that are connected to IFE and then to PAS800L (see attached). The PAS800L is connected to Siemens S7 PLC. The main reason for using PAS800L was to reduce the number of devices that needs to be polled. But it looks like PAS800L is just working as a gateway and not a server so you still have to poll the data from each device (MCCB). Is that correct?
Thanks

yes that is correct. The advantage in this architectur is that you could reduce the number of serial devices in one row.

Hello @Gekko123 ,
Any question related to Panel Server must be asked here:

IFE is the dedicated gateway for our breaker communication system. For your reference, you will find many information about ULP system in the dedicated guide:
Panel Server Advanced (PAS800) can be:
Each device added to the Panel Server has a "Virtual ID". If the Modbus table of our MCCBs is integrated as a model in your PLC you can reach the breakers just through PAS800 IP + Virtual ID. This can make your PLC Modbus requests easier to implement. But at the end, the request will be routed to the final device.
If you want to improve your communication speed, you can use the "standard dataset" integrated in IFE and IFMs.
Regards,
