Hello,
i have small project i have to connect "HMIGXU3512" hmi to S7-300 PLC (existing plc),
I have an issue about the cable i should use, really i found a document file in the website about "MPI/PPI Driver" from the document i reach to the following pin out
please not that this connection not working for me, please support me to understand where the issue could happen. or is there is a better solution?

MPI/PPI is bus based on RS485. In that case the wiring is nearly like you described. On the Connector of SE/PF HMIs you need to make a shortcut between 3(SDA)+1(RDA) and 7(SDB)+2(RDB).
This need result of the possibility that you could use the connector for RS485/RS422.
You could find this information on the follow documentation on page 37
The additional connections are only needed on other HMIs were the COM support RS4** and RS232.
