Hi, I want to upgrade m580 eH582040 firmware from 3.22 to 4.20 I tried unity pro loader and EDMA but didn't worked now what to do?

Please follow the steps as mentioned in manual https://www.se.com/uk/en/download/document/EIO0000004992/
Before you start, load a known Control Expert application with know IP address and all security disabled in the v3.22 CPU.
For the rest just follow the steps from page 31. Notice you can use EADM for download the intermediate firmware v3.99 as mentioned in the manual, or you can use Unity loader. After download of the v3.99, the communication will timeout with an error. This is because the FTP is disabled when the v3.99 is loaded, so it's normal. Do not powercycle the CPU now as it will revert to the original fw version.
The v4.x firmware must be loaded with EADM after the v3.99.

Hi.
Check your PV. There are limitations when updating the firmware to versions 4.x. The update will stop at 80% and disconnect with a timeout error.
