Hello,
I am using a expansion module TM172E28R on a TM172PDG42R controller with Machine Expert - HVAC software.
I have setup up the controller as Can-Bus Master address 125 and the TM172E as slave address 1, also the dip switches are set (4-5-6 all off), and the dip switch number one is on and is the EOL resistor.
I have also added a 120 Ohm resistor on the Can-Bus terminal from the M172P.
Somehow I cannot get the Master running with the slave running.
The sys variables for the CANbus communication is all zero.
I also have a input from the expansion module in my watch and its always false (voltmeter shows me 24VDC).
Is there anything what I can try else? Or is there a setting i need to set that is not in the manual?
The Firmware of TM172P is "596.13".
sysCanOpenStatus[3] = 0
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Khoa,
Did you check if you make a download all? If you only download the application via programming one important file is missing.
The connec.par, these file will only be transmitted via download all or manually via commisionning if you go there to cfg file and download them via right mouse click
additional you could check if the CAN bus port is still ok.
On the upper side of the expansion is a LED
In some cases it could happend that the CAN Port get destroyed. This happend mostly if you connect all 3 CAN wires and if you distach the L- connector on the Expansion. In that case all the power goes through CAN-GND.
At least I would suggest check the detailed video from my estimated colleague LeTomas AHUMADA Link
