Importing variables/project

Wondering if anyone can help me or potentially has a similar issue, I can't seem to import a project from Vijeo Designer to Operator Terminal Expert. Which is fine as far as I can tell there is no work around for this (spoke to a Schneider agent), however there is an issue when trying to import variables which I feel definitely has some way to work it in.

After speaking with an Agent I was told that the file must be tab delimited to be brought into EOTE (Terminal Expert), I managed to change the file to that as a .txt file with tab delimited. However it still wont let me import the file, as well as that I can't seem to save it as a .csv (tab delimited).

HI @Jack.H95 ,

I have been working with the structures of the elements to import variables from PLC software (Machine Expert / SoMachine / Machine Expert HVAC) in Vijeo Designer and EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert. The structures to import the variables are different.

I believe you can manually change the structure of Vijeo Designer exported file in an excel to match EOTE format but it is going to take some time.

There is an internal tool to migrate Vijeo Designer to EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert.

Please contact your technical support team in your country for further information.

Best regards,

Leandro

Note: probably the tool can not migrate the complete panel from Vijeo Designer but maybe the variables completely.

I will try again, the R&D team with Schneider said there is no way to convert the entire project. Big fan of your Youtube.
