Import Variables to Vijeo Designer 6.2.12 From Machine Expert Basic 1.2 SP1

I'm having issues linking variables from a m221 .SMBP project to a new Vijeo project.

The .SMBP project displays find when searching for the file but when i click "Open" there are no variables found.

I have tried different .SMBP projects i have but all have the same result.

Versions

Vijeo Designer 6.2.12

Machine Expert Basic 1.2 SP1

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi

I'm not an expert in MachineExpert-Basic. But have you checked that you have selected "IEC61131 Syntax" on the driver side in vijeo?

And make sure that you have generated the symbols in MachineExpert-Basic:

Thanks for your help. I had this done yes, turned out I had the project password protected and this was stopping the Vijeo software from reading the variables.
