OLD HMI :Modicon XBTF034510
NEW HMI : SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC Harmony GTO Model HMIGTO5310 (Ethernet,RS485)
The old HMI has a connector which does not fit in the new HMI!!!!
How can we replace the old with this New HMI which is already programmed
I have also received a USB FIP ADAPTER can it be used ?

I did a quick test, adding a FIPIO device to a vijeo 6.2 project and it auto populated a USB adapter, it seems that is the way to go:
It's also a posibility that the XBTF034510 used modbus plus, are you sure it is FIPIO?

The vendor has sent FIP to USB adapter with the new HMI so lloks like it is FIPIO but the HMI does not work - how can i verify it has the driver for the FIPIO - is it possible to add this driver onto the exiting project of which I dont have a copy ? Can I upload from the HMI and then add the sriver and download to HMI

Vijeo doesn't include the editor project on the HMI by default. It's a project setting for each target (General>Include Editor Project). You would have to retrieve it using the Vijeo Data Manager (Start>Programs>Schneider Electric>Vijeo Designer Data Manager). You can try to retrieve the project this way, but you can't know if access is enabled/disabled or what a possible username/password combo might be.
To see if the HMI is trying to use FIPIO and the USB device, you can try opening the runtime configuration menu on the HMI (look at chapter 26.2 of the Vijeo designer help file contents). The default way to open this is to tap one top corner of the screen and the opposite bottom corner. If you can get the configuration menu open, you can check the diagnostics page to see what drivers the HMI is trying to use (I would suggest using the Communications statistics first and then the testing variables option.
Have you reached out to your vendor at all about this?
