Hi @Erik_Huysmans ,
I am really glad to read you are using our tool when we are always delighted to support our users.
Regarding your question, yes you can use the custom catalog that allow you to add 3rd party devices into the Builder catalogue and then Drag and Drop into your architecture ( see video attached)
you can find this custom catalog on the tool bar
then you will see a windows opened where you can create your custom device. It can be either Device, Software, network device etc..
For instance to create a device you have to specify the name (Reference) associate to a familly ( e.g. drive) and you can attach documentation or images ( optional). You must select the network connexion type.
once the device created you must click on save, then save your custom catalog.
You can see your newly created device on the edition tab
you can use the device by Drag and Drop
Best Regards

Hello @Moulaye
I'm Erik from =S= Belgium. I'm using Architecture Builder to create a network design of the equipment we have in Belgium. I can see there is already a good library of =S= devices. Is there also a place to download catalogs of older materials ?
Example, I want to add some Sepam 80, I don't see it in the library..

Hello, I'm using Ecostruxure Architecture Builder for designing a Hot Standby M580 Topology with Connexium switches and fiber optic, I have already finished but I do not know how to select the switches with fiber instead of copper.
Is there a way for doing this ? or Architecture Builder only allows copper connections?
Thanks.

Hi Daniel,
if your Hot Standby is connected to the control network to change it to fiber you just have to go the menu option of the control network and select the option fiber optical

Hello @Moulaye thanks for the prompt response, I see that for operation and control Network is it possible to change to fiber, but I meant for device Network the only way to change to fiber is using the NRP module, the only thing is that in our topology we are using DRS Switches just as described in Modicon M580 Complex Topologies document. (see image attached). Thank you again and best regards
