Easy UPS overcurrent
Hello all. I am having an issue with a BVS240XDPDR tripping overcurrent (Red LED flashing). I have 2 of ABLM1A24025 feeding into the UPS. The batteries connected are 2 of 12vdc 5Ah connected in series. For 24vdc loads i have a total of around 80w in various controls. The highest amperage draw I have recorded is 2.5 Amps. The battery voltage is good, as well as both the input and output sides of the UPS while running.
If i power my panel up with everything connected the UPS trips instantly. I disconnected around 40w of load (2 separate HMI units) and tried again and it starts fine. I am able to then turn on the additional 40w of components and it operates properly. If i simulate a loss of power situation the UPS trips overcurrent with the full 80w of loads.
