Hi,
My problem is that on an ATV320 drive which i am operating via Modbus from a M221 PLC. When i start my motor the firs ramp is fine , it is as i set it on the SOMOVE software but when i increase the speed from say 25 Hz to 35 Hz it goes too rapidly. i have tried the frt function and ac2 adjustment but it won't help because i am using modbus. Is there a way to make the secon acceleration smooth too ?
Cheers,
Martin

Hi,
Normally ramp switching via FRT should also work in the case you control the drive via Modbus.

Alternative you could also write ACC and DEC directly via Modbus through the drive. The values could be changed on runtime.
To reach this you could define a initial modbus value to put ACC DEC into the I/O Scanner
The Modbus Registers for ACC and DEC are
An sample for the use of the I/O Scanner could be found in the integrated sample project
