Hi,
I'm trying to extract the HMI program from a HMIS5T. I get the following error (refer to screenshot attached) when trying to upload the project. My understanding based on some research is that this means that the actual project backup file was not downloaded to the HMI (on the main memory or the secondary memory - I have tried both, and there is no optional drive attached). Does this mean that there is no way to actually get the program from the HMI? Will I need to find the original programmer and get a copy of the project files?

Hi
Unfortunately, it will not be possible to upload it because the Project Editor was not enabled when downloading the program to the HMI. You are correct, either you request the backup of the project from the application developer or create a new application.
