I'm probably being a bit pedantic, but here goes.
My preferred font for HMIs is Arial. It is sans serif and one that is recommended to be used for those people who may suffer with poor vision.
In Termial Expert, is there a way to introduce new fonts, rathe than having to rely on the Gothic fonts that come bundled with the software please?
Many thanks.
John

Hi John,
I don't believe adding fonts to Terminal Expert is an option at this point. Adding to Terminal Expert would be the first step, as the custom/new font would also need to be installed in your HMI display device.
Keep in mind that font type is one aspect of the accessibility of the final product; size, contrast are very impactful as well. Here is a reference on fonts, readability and accessibility:

Hi,
On the EOTE HMI we are using, only the standard system fonts provided by the manufacturer can be used at the moment, so we are not able to install the specific custom font you requested. However, by using the rich-text options (size, weight and emphasis), we can adjust the texts to get as close as possible to the appearance you would like as below picture. I hope it will be usefull.
