Good Morning All,
I have a Question on the ATV340 Communication settings.
I am using the ethernet communication to send speed ref to the VSD, the unit is started over terminal connections.
Attached is a picture of the current setup i have, everything is working except the reset on bit 7 from CMD.
What change is necessary for me to reset the device from the Scada system over ethernet and still keep the Ethernet for Speed Ref and the terminal start condition

Hi,
If your command is still at Terminal, the CMD register bit 7 will not be taken into account to do the fault reset. What you can do is to do command switching from terminal to ethernet using the C511 - C515 (the bit number 11 to 15 of the command register), then send the CMD bit 7. For my case I use C511 to do command switching. So when fault happen, I send 2048 to CMD register, then 2176 to reset the fault, and I send 0 to change the command back to terminal. This way you should be able to do fault reset.
