Issue
The MAST (master) task scan cycle time of the Modicon M580 Hot Standby CPU is fixed at PERIODIC mode, in order to improve stability and performance, we need to adjust and optimize the MAST task scan cycle time of the CPU.
Resolution
By applying any of the two methods mentioned in this document to adjust and optimize the periodic scan cycle time, the Modicon M580 Redundant System will improve its stability and performance.
