Issue
To encrypt data exchanged between M262 Client and MQTT broker, a certificate is required. Without a valid certificate the communication between the two communicating parties is not secured.
Resolution
To create a valid certificate OpenSSL is used. OpenSSL is a widely-used open-source software library that provides cryptographic functions and protocols. It is designed to provide a toolkit for secure communication over computer networks and to implement encryption, decryption, digital signatures, and other cryptographic operations.
