Submit a support request for additional assistance with EcoStruxure IT software.
Select your language from the translate dropdown in the upper right.
Administrators can change the device name displayed in IT Expert for all monitored devices including the EcoStruxure IT Gateway.
Go to Devices. Select a device to change its name in the Actions section.
After you chage the device name, its original name as it was discovered in the Gateway is displayed in the Properties section.
Gateway software updates do not affect changes made to device names in IT Expert.
Note: The option to change the name of the Gateway is no longer available from the Administration > Gateways tab.
