It's really hard to find reliable information in any online Schneider Electric material. I know older M172P controllers didn't have an SNTP feature. But now, looking at the newest catalog version, it shows M172 now supports.
On the M172SIG interface page it also seems to list NTP.
However, I couldn't find whether they can read the time/status from any NTP server on the Internet, or if they only sync from a local IP. In other words: if the device is connected to the Internet via Ethernet, will it get date/time from an external NTP server, or is it limited to local NTP sources?
