M172 modbus TCP limits

How many maximum devices can poll the M172(SLAVE) controller via ModbusTCP?

I have 8 HMI panels(Master) and one M172(Slave).

Hi Kleoroman,

You could see here the default number of open sockets for Modbus TCP

And you can add maximal 3 additional

In your case you could try if a higher delay time between read commands could work. If you use continous read via HMI it could be a problem.
