I have an M172 controller and couldn't find any examples of how to use the PIDAutoTuning block. Has anyone been able to implement it? I tried several ways but I was not successful. No errors appeared when compiling but the block did not generate the values "automatically".

You could find an example in the included TVDAs.
After the autotune you have to store the values manually in the EEPROM. You wil find an example also in the TVDA project in the next network.
How good the autotune works depends on your system. In my personal expirience it works mostly good with actuators which could use the full operation range without any external influence. As example an 2 oder way water regulation valve works good. A condenser fan could be complicated because you could run in a high pressure fault during tuning. You have to try it.
