OnConfigChange and OnValidate

OnConfigChange is called in the following circumstances

• object is created [Created]

• object properties are saved [Modified]

• object converted to a template [Created]

• new instance of a templated object is created [Created]

• When the database starts [Loaded]

• If a property override is enable on a templated object OnConfig Change [Modified] (and OnValidateConfig) is called for every existing instance.

• If a config field is changed using "Set Value" in ViewX's OPC navigator

• SQL is used to update a config field in the object.

• If an object is copied in viewX OnConfigChange is called but the flag is [Created] (although the objects values are populated correctly.

OnValidate is called

• After any call to OnConfigChange

• When the property window of an object is opened for editting.

• If a property override is enable, only OnValidate is called only on the template object (firstly OnConfigChange and OnValidate is called for every instance).
