Crystal Reports Driver
SAP now require that each operational installation of the Crystal Reports runtime module used within a server application (including Geo SCADA Expert / ClearSCADA) requires a license. As a result, Schneider Electric is now required to purchase a Crystal Reports runtime license on behalf our customers for each server installation using Crystal Reports.
If you currently have the Crystal Reports Driver installed on your system and use this to generate and display reports, you are now required to purchase one additional Crystal Reports runtime license on each SCADA Server for this functionality to be provided in conjunction with this license update.
By advising that a Crystal Reports license is required, an update of your existing Geo SCADA Expert license will only be provided after payment is received for the Crystal Reports runtime license(s). For further information regarding pricing of the Crystal Reports runtime license, please contact your local Schneider Electric sales representative.
By advising that a Crystal Reports license is NOT required, you are confirming that Crystal Reports is not currently used on your system, and therefore this capability will be removed from your Geo SCADA Expert license(s) during the update.
