📖HomeBack Two new analog deviation options where recently added to the SCADAPack E-Series firmware to complement the existing percentage deviation. The new options are Absolute and Integration.
The E-Series configuration download support in ClearSCADA has been extended to include support for these new options for outstations with the new firmware (7.82 and 8.01 onwards). ClearSCADA already included an option for Absolute but when selected the value was converted to a percentage; the absolute value is now downloaded without change. The Percentage option is still available. An Integration option has also been added.
------------------------------------
Version 7.82 of the SCADAPack E-Series firmware added support for different Event Deviation methods. Prior to this the Event Deviation Method was fixed at Percentage; however ClearSCADA offered Absolute as an option and then internally converted this to a percentage. With the updates to the firmware ClearSCADA was also updated to allow the download the event deviation types (CDT) as well as the value. All values for the Event Deviation are now downloaded directly this includes the new Integration type. For older firmware version the previous behaviour is still used with the Integration type not being offered.
For further details on how these Event Deviation types work in the RTU please refer to the appropriate E-Series documentation.
