📖HomeBack Driver logging may be used to help diagnose some driver or communications related problems in ClearSCADA. A moderate level of driver logging is enabled by default in ClearSCADA. To diagnose more specific problems a higher or more customised level of driver logging may be required.
The level of driver logging on a system may be set by doing the following.
Right click on server icon and select Status
Select the appropriate system and under General, select Modules
Right click on the DNP3 driver and select Logging
The 'Current Options' tab relates the the logging options to be used until the driver next shuts
The 'Default Options' tab relates to the logging options to be used after the driver next starts
The configuration tab allows setting of the number of log files to keep, size of log files etc.

Note: Higher levels of logging will cause increased disk access, increase the complexity of the log files and reduce the time window covered by the log files.
