Driver logging may be used to help diagnose some driver or communications related problems in ClearSCADA. A moderate level of driver logging is enabled by default in ClearSCADA. To diagnose more specific problems a higher or more customised level of driver logging may be required.
The level of driver logging on a system may be set by doing the following.

The configuration tab allows setting of the number of log files to keep, size of log files etc.

Note: Higher levels of logging will cause increased disk access, increase the complexity of the log files and reduce the time window covered by the log files.

- Right click on server icon and select Status

- Select the appropriate system and under General, select Modules

- Right click on the DNP3 driver and select Logging

- The 'Current Options' tab relates the the logging options to be used until the driver next shuts
down.

- The 'Default Options' tab relates to the logging options to be used after the driver next starts
up.
