I want to use the Com'x 510 to connect the PM5310 METER, i create the new device pm5310 , but i want to log the individual voltage and current harmonic , but can't show this item , just THD.
so, i go to create the custom libary , i find the pm5310 individual mapping address and create . but commucation always error.
someone can help me please. thanks

Hi,
When creating a custom model, you need to enter the Modbus address, not the Modbus register. The Modbus address is the Modbus register - 1.
I hope this helps.

Hi Randi:
thanks , but i use the dignostic funtion read the register , for the example , i want to read PM5310 A-N voltage THD ,Register is 21330 , the individual it can be read sucessful , no problem
but i create the custom library , i modify the frame , start address , you means i should key in 21329 (21330-1) , maybe works right ?

Hello @gibson_huang_ep
I confirm. Register = Modbus Address + 1
For PM5300 serie, THD Voltage A-N register is 21330.
The embedded Diagnostic Tool of the Com'X is working with the Register number. So in this case if you read 21330 you will have a goof value.
But if you want to create a Custom Model (for any device) => you need to enter the Modbus Address of the Register (and not the register itself).
A Modbus Frame is always composed of the Address of the Register.
A good example is to create your PM5310 Model based on the Existing PM5320 Model. you will see the differences.

Romain

Hi @Romain_Polette :
thanks for the useful reply , i can use cutom library to read the modbus address , but the value is weird, in that time nornally the VTHD a-n is between 18%-30% , but the com'x 510 show -2695,977,546,809,344,00 , as the picture as below.
please teach me , how to adujust the parameter to display correct value . thanks again.
