SIM10M analogue value in EGX300 ?

We have connected an outside temperature sensor to the analogue input of the SIM10M which is connected to our EGX300.

When we read individual registers we can see a analogue value (register 25) .  But the value is not displayed anywhere. And we can not select logging for the analogue value.

The digital signals are working fine. We are currently running on firmware 4.2 . Is updating to 4.350 helpful?

we created a custom device. But then the signals are not available in the dashboards. And also not in the trend.

Hello Jos!

I had written two articles about that. Can't remember the exact details, but they should help you as I always try to put as much details as possible for future references:

1) http://energyoperation.info/2012/03/13/sensor-to-struxtureware-energy-part-2-veris-rtd-with-sim-modu...

2) Sensors/SIM… a new life thanks to Virtual Channels and Show Description | Energy Operation

Also note that if you are going to push the data to Energy Operation, you don't have to worry about article number 2, and you're note limited anymore in terms of sensors since you can do all the math in the EMIS itself. (Just push the 4.20mA or 0-10V).

Hope it helps!
