Replacement COM'X510 for PAS800

Hi,

We put some Com'X 510 gateways for connection to FE-Energy in the last half year in projects.

Customers roll out projects within the order a PAS600/800 but in the meanwhile temporary a Com'X

We rip them out of demo cases and test racks.

Now we are at the point the PAS800 is arriving in NL and hopefully, the Cloud connection is also released in begin of September.

Will there be a replacement plan? 

What steps do you suggest?

I want to go to the sites in mid-September is that a good idea?

there are two aspects to this that need to be considered in my opinion.

On the gateway side, Facility Expert Energy support is expected in v1.4 firmware, which is planned to arrive this month. Unfortunately there is no "configuration migration" tool to transfer your current Com'X settings to new PAS, so the first step would be to configure your new PAS (add the same devices, configure network etc) and connect it to cloud plaform - all according to PAS User Manual. This should be doable mid-September.

But the gateway is just half of the story. Your gateway replacement should also be managed on the FE side. For that I would suggest reaching out to your Facility Expert contacts. They should be able to explain the process on the applciaiton side.
