Modbus Slave limit for Acti9 Smartlink SI B

Hello,

I am interested to know why the Acti9 Smartlink SI B (A9XMZA08) only supports up to 8 Modbus slave devices and not more?

Hello,

Smartlink SIB can be a transparent gateway for 32 Modbus Slaves.

But on the SIB Web interface you can only integrate 8 slaves (smartlink, iEM2100, iEM3000,...). This is because the Smartlink SIB master can concentrate data for only 8 slaves. It means that the data ofbthe Modbus slaves can be read through the unique slave ID 255.
