Link 150 + Controllogix Allen Brandley

¿La comunicación del modulo "Link 150" y comunicación Ethernet de Allen Bradley en procesador ControlLogix es transparente?

Existe algún procedimiento paso paso que  tengan de dicha configuración, o tal vez descargar algún EDS, GSD ,EDD o algún bloque AOP  Schneider para su posterior programación en PLC Controllogix?

Hola Camilo,

Que tipo de integracion piensas hacer con el PLC y el Gateway? Si el PLC ya tiene Ethernet para que necesitas el Gateway?

Vas a usar un algun software en especifico como maestro del PLC?

Hola Juan, gracias por responder.

Lo que pasa es lo siguiente.

Tenemos 3 equipos PM3250 que queremos llevar a un sistema SCADA.

Por lo tanto, usamos la Link150 como Gateway de los 3 equipos PM3250 que están conectados por Modbus, y esta link la queremos visualizar en el PLC Controllogix.

No se si con eso te queda más claro a ver si me puedes ayudar.

Si tienes el gateway porque no accedes el medidor directamente desde el sistema SCADA? o mejor aun les vendes un PME

Si no, asegurate que el PLC pueda ser maestro Modbus TCP. Luego tienes que programar en el PLC el mapa modbus del medidor para importar los registros que requieras. No es necesario ningun tipo de archivo de configuracion.

Estimado Juan:

Respecto de esto mismo, te comento que ya encontramos una solución para integrar los equipos PM3250 al sistema SCADA de la planta donde estamos trabajando. Para esto, utilizaremos una tarjeta Prosoft existente, para comunicar directamente en MODBUS RTU los equipos.

Mi nueva pregunta es la siguiente:

Yo pretendo incentivar a mi cliente para que instale el PME. Mi duda es si, puedo yo ir a buscar los datos directamente al PLC para poder monitorearlos desde el PME? En caso de que no pueda sacar los datos directamente desde el PLC, cuales serían los pasos a seguir?

Hola Camilo,

Es posible leer los datos desde el PLC siempre y cuando este pueda actuar como esclavo Modbus TCP.

Leer los datos del PLC va a requerir mas ingenieria pues vas a tener que construir un driver personalizado para el PLC.

Mi recomendacion seria usar un Gateway Link150 para conectar los medidores aguas abajo y que PME y el PLC (si es necesario) sean maestros modbus TCP de los medidores. De esta forma puedes agregar los medidores nativamente a PME, y aprovechas los drivers existentes y sus beneficios en el software.

Estaba pensando en algo similar, pero ¿podría, utilizando comunicación MODBUS, dejar los equipos PM3250 como escalvos de 2 maestros diferentes (uno sería la Link150 y otro sería el PLC)?

No es posible si lo haces al puerto serial, solo un maestro por red serial.

Si lo haces a traves del gateway puedes tener multiples maestros Modbus TCP (en el lado ethernet) interrogando simultanemente el medidor.

Aa claro, lo que pasa es que el Controllogix de Rockwell no conversa con la Link 150, por eso tuvimos que cambiar la forma de comunicar con el PLC . Y ahora que podemos comunicar los equipos con el PLC y visualizarlos en el SCADA, queremos también darles la posibilidad de instalar el PME.
