Integrate a third-party device which is a modbus temperature and vibration sensor to the pass800 through the Commissioning Web portal

ntegrate a third-party device which is a modbus temperature and vibration sensor to the pass800 through the Commissioning Web portal

Kind regards,

I am creating a template for the PASS800L for a temperature and vibration sensor for a motor, but when creating the modbus registers in the template there is no default library that allows adding the values from the sensor register table. If I add them without using any of the library recommendations it allows me to create the template, but when importing it into the PASS800L it tells me "INVALID MODEL".

Please can you help me with information or some kind of template that I can use as an example to create the template mentioned.

I appreciate the support and attention.

hello @krisconde10,

I do not see your custom model associated to a device if it is QM30VT2 ?

Regarding your custom model I see a Float32 measurement which is having a custom measurement name.

From what I see you are having measurement in your custom model, do you have frames ?

Can you add your custom model ?

Kind Regards

hello @krisconde10,
There is unit symbolic name with too long value (> 16 Characters)
For  "RMS Velocity mmsec" measurement, change  "RMS Velocity mmsec" Unit (18 characters) to a shorter unit name and it will work.
Regards

Hello dear, @Guillaume_Evrard

I would like to tell you that the Device is the QM3VT2 Sensor, for which we are creating the modbus template, for the Pass800L, the values that we have in the modbus register map are in the FLOAT32 format, and the measurement is customized, they are not found in the default libraries of the Commissioning Web portal, and in fact I want to integrate it
