How we position the embedded EMS we have in both gateway and meter product line?

We have EGX300, SSL and future ComX 500 as small EMS offer.

At the same time we also have several high end meters (PM5560, PM8000) that are embedded EMS as well.

For me, I use embedded EMS offer to attract customer with relatively total lower power consumption.

Anyone can also share your view of positioning the embedded EMS mentioned above?

Thanks

Hi Abon,

The embedded EMS on meters is still relatively new within the metering offer (basic & intermediate), but you see that in many typical cases it is a customer/end user who needs to access data fast and if possible remotely.

In the Netherlands it is undeniable that digitalization is become more apparent and people expect a certain level of "embedded" or simple easy to use software  that can fullfill their basic needs. In parallel time and the level of 'technical' knowledge within the market (especially the diffuse one) is less and less and requires companies like us to make simple, easy to use added valued products.

Embedded EMS can definitely contribute to the part above but for me embedded EMS is most attractive for small sites, startup EMS projects or companies who are nowadays being forced by the local authorities to measure and show their energy consumption.

What we mostly offer is EGX300, Homelynk, and recently the PM5000.

Regards,

Jun

Hi guys!

We are excited about the Com'X 510 which just finished code development.  You will see this coming very soon....April 10th!

The Com'X 510, as Abon mentioned, will be the substitution for the EGX300...and a great offer for a small EMS.

Here's a peek at some screenshots...

looks good !  Will I be able to look at the webpages from a mobile device? Is the desgn responsive ? We already experimented in the EGX 300 with it. Would be nice if Com'X500 supports this by default. see : [DEAD LINK /message/7471#7471]https://powersolutionscommunity.schneider-electric.com/message/7471#7471

Hi James, Will the Com'X 510 be enabled with 3G instead of GPRS?

GPRS will switched off in Australia by end of 2016

James - will it be possible to do customized Web Pages? (like the EGX-300) - Will the COM'X 200 do that or does it do it already?
