Hi , in the list of features of last firmware version of the EGX300 is not clear if EGX300 supports reading the PM5300 through TCP/IP connection.

Thanks

James Jeanette

Hi, James! I have a quick question about firmware updates. When updating the firmware of EGX300, how will it affect the logged data in the unit and the current configuration. Will the logged data be erased and the configuration reverted to the default setup?

All the best,

Alyssa

Hello Alyssa.

The logged data and configuration will remain; however, we do have some recommendations depending on which version you are updating from.

If you currently are running Firmware Version 3.7, follow this for 4.370:

4928

If you currently are running Firmware Version 3.8 (or GREATER), follow this for 4.370:

4929

*As a reminder.  You need both the Firmware file, and the Disk Update file to perform an EGX300 upgrade.  You apply the Disk Update file in the same manner (FTP) as the Firmware file, but only AFTER the Firmware file is transferred, and the EGX300 reboots.

I hope this helps.

James

This is correct.  The new version of EGX300 firmware will allow for remote ID connection to 255.

James, Hi!

Regarding the fix "Issue with logging strings not matching topic for PM5100/PM5300, EM4800, PM5350xB, PM5350, and PM5500", I'd like to understand if Active Energy was recorded under a wrong topic?

We currently have the following topics available under a PM5100:

5042

Would updating the firmware add Active Energy kWh to that list?

Thanks in anticipation!

-Maxence

HI James,

it seems that like logging of pulse count on the PM3255 is not working correctly.
