Firmware Com'X 200 Version 2.1.17

Attention:

We have recently found an issue with the Com'X 200/210 version 2.1.17 firmware.  This does not affect the Com'X 510 version 2.1.17 firmware.

A solution for this problem has been identified and a new release is anticipated within days.

ACTION:

We recommend to not upgrade any Com'X 200/210 boxes to the 2.1.17 firmware.  There are no issues with using version 2.1.17 on a clean install (no prior configuration); however I propose that you wait for the upcoming release with the fix applied.

NOTE

If a user has already upgraded to the new version, they must not revert to the previous version nor should they make any changes to the Local IDs.  Doing so may require a factory reset which would delete the current Com'X configuration.  Additional instructions for the user to recover from the first upgrade to 2.1 will be provided with the new release.

• Monitoring support has been added for non-communicating equipment/sensors connected to the Com’X 510 digital inputs as well as ones connected to the variants of the Acti 9 SmartLink.
• Firewall management support added to the Com’X 200/210 to match Com’X 510.
• Corrected date/time format used in all languages which prevented accurate display of data
• Incremental performance improvements aimed at reducing boot up time when configured, device discovery time, and device creation. Performance improvements targeted as priority in each new development cycle.
• Additional bug fixes.

I am anticipating by the end of the week, but it depends on the testing effort.  I will post it just as soon as I have it.
