Dear collegues,
I'm using a PLC as a gateway and concentrator for 10 third party power meters communicating in profibus. I configured on the PLC different memory register areas for different instruments ( e.g from MW 100 to MW 200 for instrument 1, from 201 to 300 for instrument 2 and so on). I want to read the PLC memory areas containing the power meters data with a EGX300, In order to have local buffer ( a PME with ETL is required). I'm configuring 10 different custom device type , so I can have one csv for each instrument. The problem is that the EGX300 dos not accept the configuration of more instruments with the same modbus address( see picture below), that is the modbus address of the PLC of course.
Does someone knows if it is possible to make the EGX 300 accept this configuration. I'd appreciate any other ideas for the given system.
Thanks alot

I do not know any solution using the EGX300, but you may replace it by an Com'X 200.
In this new familly of gateway there is no restriction on the modbus slaves.
Regards
Jef
