EGX-300/COM'X 200 - Gateway Consolidation Point?
Is it possible to use the COM'X as a common consolidation point for multiple gateways?
For example, if I had say multiple EGX-100s on a network but I wanted a device or piece of software to point to a single device to make it such that all of the unique ID devices on each of the EGX-100s could be queried via a single EGX-300 or COM'X-200?
The main reason I ask if for an application where I only have 1x 3G modem with a static IP, but I have multiple EGX-100s on the network with 5-10x meters on each, and I don't want to have to buy multiple 3G modems to access such a small amount of devices.
Now - I'm talking about Modbus Mastering queries - as opposed to using the EGX-300/COM'X-200 to actually LOG the EGX-100 slave devices and FTP push them. This is for a LIVE data application remotely.
