Custom device on EGX300

Hi every body,

please i need your helps : my problem is i can not see my custom device in the list of devices in odrer to show its real data on web page of EGX300 .

the EGX300 demand a ID (i don't how can i have ID for cutom device )

Hi Mamouni,

By "Counter" do you mean "Device" (i.e. "custom device type in the Device List")?, Otherwise I'm not sure what you mean.

Anyway, the "Local ID" in the Device list is the Modbus address of the physical device you are applying your custom device type to.

Hi Mamouni,

I think I know where you are stuck, but let me know if I am wrong.

You've created your custom device type so now you need to go to Setup > Device List, find your device (assuming you have comms to it), and set the device type to be your new custom device type. Hit Apply and the device will appear in the Monitoring section.

Hello,
I thank you for your answer , you're right I'm stuck in this level.But the problem is when I find my custom counter in the counter list I must enter an ID . knowing that the custom counter has not ID !!!!!!
