Does anybody know how to change the date format on the Com'x 510 from US to EU style, i.e. from mm/dd/yy to dd/mm/yy ? I would have imagined changing the time zone to London DST, UTC would but it doesn't.
I can't for the life of me see how to do it and the manual is not being much use
Thanks

Hi Richard,
The date/time format as displayed on the Com'X webpages is tied to the language that user uses to login, in the case of English the date format used is US only.

Awesome, should i give you the details of our customer to explain that the Schneider product they have bought can't display the date correctly for the region they are using it in ?

Hi Richard,
Agreed that it can be an awkward conversation, for such things. Unfortunately, today the date format is not user configurable and is on the long list of "tweaks" for a better user experience. I am happy to have a phone conversation with the customer on this topic. As the global offer manager, it does not surprise me how often these types of issues come up. I feel addressing language and cultural differences is one of Schneider Electric's main challenges as we try and provide a "global offer" for many.

Sandra, Hi
Thanks for the reply, my comment was more out for frustration than anything, we can head it off as the client had a hand in specifying the Com'X in the first instance.
Its the first time we have used the Com'X it so was a surprise to see the date format locked to language, although that date format is used in the UK sometimes its very uncommon and its very confusing for EU zone dwellers to use this date format, in fact where this panel is going that format is NEVER used so when viewing reports and data exports etc. it can be easily misinterpreted by the person reading it.
Is there a development road map for the Com'X for when the date format change will happen ?
Having said all that i am quite impressed with the unit for a simple metering system
Cheers

Hi Richard,
I'm sorry to hear this is causing you and your clients frustration. I can't comment as to the road map itself as SANDRA PEDRO would be best for that, but I would like to point out that you can change the date format on CSV exports. If you go to the Publication page there is an option at the bottom:
I hope this helps alleviate at least some of the confusion and frustration.
Best,

Thank you Colton for the point of clarity. It is on the webpages the date format is set. Unfortunately, I do not have a clear date to share at this time. It is a logged request. I just joined the team in December. We are reviewing the list of feature requests from around the globe and prioritizing. Our next release is due out mid year 2017.

Colton,
Thanks, that helps a little if we are taking data out but the web display is still going to cause confusion. It's still puzzling to me how such a little thing that is so important for regionalisation isn't a standard option for a globalised product.
Cheers
