Com'X 200 read out of datalogs

Hi there,

Does someone know, if there is a way to read out the logged data of a Com'X 200 like it is the case with the EGX300 (e.g. by FTP)? For example if there is a Com'X installed on a site and is logging data, but you system (e.g. Energy Operation)  is not ready yet, then you maybe don't like to lose data which is already logged. So maybe there is a way to get this data out of the device for pushing it afterwards into your system.

Other question: If you have configured the Com'X to pushing data once per week, at what time this will be done (you only have the possibility to select the day)?

Thanks

Daniel

1) Is it possible to get data in th e COm'X 200 :

The Com'X 200 is design to push data to a server through the web. In order to avoid cyber security issue, the Com'X 200 is always a client, and never a server.

As a consequence it is NOT possible to read any data in the Com'X 200.

In case the Energy Operation FTP server is not available, the Com'X 200 will not erase its buffer, and will keep the logged meters values.

At the following retry, if the Energy Operation FTP server is now available, the Com'X 200 will send all the logged meters values.

==> Does that behavior fit your need ?

2) Weekly push data

If you configure the Com"'X 200 for a "weeky" p you can select the day of week, and the com'X 200 will push its data at 01:00 AM (this is the same setting than when you configure a "daily" p

Hi Jef,

To 1) This is not exactly what I experienced. I have used a Com'X which has logged data without publicationactivated. Then after some days I have activated it for publication once per hour. But the Com'X only sent the last hour of logged data and not the rest.

What do you understand under "at the following retry"? Will this be one week later when publication frequency is set to "weekly" (e.g. when network was down) or will it retry from time to time and as soon that the FTP server is newly available it sends its data?
