Hello,
I have a ComX510 that was turned off during a couple of hours last friday, due to preventive maintenance to the substation, and after 3 days the Power LED is still orange.
The firmware version of the equipment is 6.6.5, it is connected to 12 iEM3000 meters and has been in operation for almost 4 years.
Any suggestions as to why the equipment hasn't booted up after 3 days and how can I solve this issue?
Regards,
JG

Hi Jorge,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having an issue with your Com'X booting up.
Would you try to upgrade to the latest version of Com'X firmware via the USB port?
Instructions to upgrade via USB
Please let me know if this doesn't resolve the issue.
Best regards,
Randi

Hi Randi,
Updating to firmware version 6.8.4 didn't resolved the issue. After waiting for over an hour I connected via the ethernet port, typed the IP address in the web browser and the starting page displayed a message saying "Welcome to Com'X 510, the box is starting, please wait..." but on the upper right corner it displayed the new firmware version.
To solve the issue I opted to do a factory reset after which it took about 20min for the Com'X510 to boot up, donwgraded to firmware version 6.6.5, uploaded the latest configuration backup and finally upgraded again to firmware version 6.8.4.
