6 Digit modbus Addressing
I am trying log data on the Comx 200.
I am trying to create a custom Modbus TCP device but it does not accept the registers. The device in question makes use of 6 digit Modbus addressing.
For example the Frequency is at register 418443 . I am able to read this device with an RTU but the comx will not allow it.
Is there a work around or perhaps I am just doing it wrong.
Has anyone had any success with a similar issue.

Hi Caylum,
Usually Modbus registers are expressed as 4 or 5 digits, with the last 4 digits are usually the register with the data.
the first being the data type / function code.
some RTU software will drop the prefix for you, as does the Com'X expect it.
