Product Notice: XR Operator Advisor and Windows 11 Update

Dear Users,

We want to inform you of an important issue regarding the XR Operator Advisor server when updating your laptop to Windows 11. This update may cause server unavailability.

Therefore, if you have installed the XR Operator Advisor server on your device, please follow these steps to ensure a smooth transition to Windows 11.

1. Return Your License: Before updating to Windows 11, make sure to return your XR Operator Advisor license. See procedure in annex 1.
2. Update to Windows 11: Proceed with the update to Windows 11 on your laptop.
3. Update your XR Operator Advisor server to version 2.5.2 (if not the case) according to your setup (SQL Lite or SQL). Contact Alexandre Kombo to get the server 2.5.2 installer (SQL or SQL Lite).
4. Replace the .appsetting JSON File: After the update is complete, it is essential to replace the existing .appsetting JSON file in the “XROA-Server” folder by a new file. Contact Alexandre Kombo to get the right file.
5. Start the server and Reactivate Your License: You will need to reactivate your XR Operator Advisor license. See procedure in annex 1.
